TEDx events are conferences because they aren’t just about talks or performances. TEDxJIS, like all other TEDx events, is about the entire experience. It’s a place where people can connect, interact and communicate with each other. It’s a time to meet new people, ask questions, and exchange ideas for how to solve problems in the community.

Salons are smaller events that keep the community engaged between annual TEDx conferences. Attendees watch TED Talks videos, interact with speakers or performers, and have informal discussions about the talks they view together. TEDxJISSalons have brought together current students and parents, alumni, and former JIS teachers.

TEDx Live

TEDxLive is centered on the simulcast of the annual TED Conference. Here, the JIS community, along with the world, becomes TED’s audience.
